Our Story
Amanda Hood founded ExtrOdinary Solutions, in 2016 as a way to help others and give back to the community. Amanda has always had a passion for helping others. She has worked with an assisted living facility, a local fire department, and more! After the birth of her children, Amanda found her passion in helping seniors!
Amanda has an associate’s degree in applied science from Baker college and has over 14 years of experience in the medical field.
We can be there for you for as long as you need. What that really means is, that we are prepared to be there for you when you need someone, for as long as you need someone. Our staff cares for individuals of all ages.
We have a medical assistant on staff with lots of experience. Our staff will leave a communication book that will be filled with updates on the client during every visit.

Company Overview
We are a versatile company, offering Extrodinary Solutions with A+ service that can help with everyday needs. We can be there for you or your loved one for as long as you need. We work with the Hillsdale County Veteran's Affairs office and WellWise Services Area Agency on Aging. We have worked with hospice as well as other agencies.
We can go into a medical facility or home and check on your loved one while you are away during the week. We can help with phone calls to loved ones. We can check in on loved ones while you are on vacation and assist with all daily activities, such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and more.
We can help brush hair, button a shirt, paint nails, put on socks, put on and tie shoes, and other simple but much-needed creature comforts. We can take your pet to the local vet if needed!
Our staff cares for individuals of all ages and maintains up-to-date records in individualized communication booklets, which are logged during every visit. We also utilize an electronic Visit Verification System. Our application tracks the clock in & out times as well as GPS coordinates of every employee. Caregivers are able to add notes for every shift that family can review using our convenient Family Portal.
We have full general liability and commercial insurance. Our staff undergoes background checks and are all certified in CPR and First Aid. We also have an experienced, certified medical assistant on staff.
